World Juniors

99% of Americans have no idea WTF you're talking aboot.

the game against the americans was amazing, then the game against the russians just topped the american game.

lol. Americans have no idea what the world juniors tournament is about.
They have great talent but can't put it together in a short tournament like this. Too bad because Canada-USA would have made for a fun final tomorrow.
Great hockey and great game last night against Russians.

sweet go Canada go they will have a tuff one withthe Sweds..EH!!!it has been some real great hockey to watch ....

we didn't have it on TV down here. I watched the Stars against the Oilers. The Stars are just bulletriddled, I think they got some HS kids to play with them last night. Last I saw it was 2-2 in the 3rd, but I fell asleep. Who won? as if I need to ask.....

txhockeyfan, they lost to Oilers Saturday but beat Vancouver in shootout last night.
Too bad you don't get any of the games from the Junior Championship. Young kids playing their hearts out. Most NHL reg season games pale in comparison.

We own the world in hockey and it's by far the hardest sport. fuck foosball

Id say Detroit. They are just to organized and poised...hardest working team ever to play especially after they won a cup. Coach Mike Babcock from Saskatchewan has them playing an unbeatable puck posession, skilled hockey team. i hate to say it because im from canada but i know hockey and Detroit is hockeytown for a reason

Hockeytown for the U.S.
Detroit's a great team with great mgmt but still have to give tickets away.
Montreal is sold out every game and long waiting list for season tickets with a much weaker team. No comparison in passion for the game.

Puck drop for gold medal game coming up.

Cold enough for you?

Glad to hear it sounds like you had a good time.

Did she say yes?

Apart from the cold on extreme days - minus 20 + I had a nice time, the people were nice, friendly, warm and the food and beer were good.

Although I must say that you don't have many touristic things in Montreal, specially in the winter.

YEP, she said YES :)

Be well bro

You said it...Red Wings fans are a joke for not selling out their building every night when they have such a great team.

Its sad to see such a great hockey team with no fans...i have to say im a big fan love watching the beauty of puck movement like they compose

The World Juniors is always great hockey.
I have to admit, better then the NHL.
I'm a Leaf fan (I know, I know), and they sell out all the time, but I have to say Oiler country can be pretty rowdy.

The Laffs are sold out till the end of time.
The players already won their cup by getting the huge money.
Ownership dont give a shit about the cup either, just profits and they got plenty of that.
That's why world juniors is the best game on earth, the players are not fat yet nor are their wallets plus they have heart like the NHL'ers of the 60's, 70's and 80's.

When the players got bigger, the game got slower.

The world juniors is simply better because they are playing there hearts out for the country and an NHL contract pure and simple

They are a beautiful team to watch.
I like to watch Pittsbugh too, although they seem to be coming apart.
