This is a love poem I wrote for literature. It's funny because I got an a A, and I was sure that it wouldn't go over so well with my teacher! I hope you guys like it!
Weakness controlled what you set free- They call it pain, but it saved me- When everyone runs, you stay by my side- Some say arrogance, I call it pride- People shouldn’t judge what they don’t understand- If I give up, I’m not a man- I will train until I can go no more- Change will come from being sore- Achievement is earned through sweat and tears- I will always be there every year- You hurt so bad, but I love you so much- You make my arms shiver with every touch- I'll never forget that day, when I first saw your face- The smell and sounds take me back to that place- The Iron Life is a race I must fight to the end- I’ll never give up, you’re my best friend!
