Just curious who here works out alone and who with a friend. I spent the last 4 years lifting with my twin and have been forced to workout seperate lately. This sucks because we knew each others strengths and weaknesses, and getting other people to spot me is usually useless seeing they dont know what theyre doing

It definitely helps to have a motivated workout partner that has the same goals as you. It helps if they are a little stronger than you (Well it helps me) because it makes me push harder. My workouts wouldn't be the same without my fellow iron warrior.

yeah...my twin has always been bigger than me naturally, but he started lifting before me and at one point was 30lbs heavier. I realized I should start lifting when we got into an arguement and he picked me up like I was nothing and pushed me around. I got close to him in size and strength and then fucked up my shoulder. But now that I back into lifting I need to get rid of that 25lbs advantage he has over me

I have about 5 or 6 differnt guys I train with, but they have different schedules. I make do when I'm able, but usually train alone.

I work out alone most of my friends go to diffrent gyms and we all have diffrent schedules. Cardio I would rather be alone but for actual lifting I wouldn't mind someone around for a spot.

When I lift, it's just me and the dog (I lift at home). Sometimes the wife is home, but she stays out of my way when I'm lifting.

I've always preferred lifting on my own. I like doing cardio with someone else, but I always wanted to lift on my own. It's just simpler that way because unless the person understands what my goals are, it gets distracting. Suddenly though, everyone wants to go work out with me. Tuesday afternoons are going to be a regular workout with my brother's fiance. And one of my guy friends wants me to go with him regularly. He's distracting though because he and I talk to much. However, I'll probably start getting up at 7 a.m. to go play racquetball with him. At least, this is the plan.
