working your chest,triceps shoulders when your lats,middle,upper back is sore

I usually do a 3 day split repeating whenever I get the chance. like sometimes ill do the split more than once in one week.

i did pullups,chins,etc. 2 days ago and my back and abs are very sore from it. The bench,chest exercises use a lot of back muscles and abs, should i wait off until my back lats are no longer sore?
