Working Abs

how many days a week do you guys work abs, how many days between etc..
I know it has alot to do with diet and cardio, but i'm just talking the actual ab workout..
 
2-3 here as well. as of now there are only really two ab exercises i can do without discomfort.

and they would be kneeling rope crunches, and weighted decline situps. everything else seems to activate my hip flexors in a discomforting way.
