Women

Wouldn't that be a bit like me asking
"Hey do you wake up in the morning and decide to wear your asshole uniform for the day while carrying your handi dandy Lie button to use in those heat of the need to use moments?!"

So...I guess we can mark you down for: comes naturally

:)

i know men who are wonderfully nice
I've got to be totally honest, I had a blinding realization last night, in considering my life, the ONLY man whose ever been unconditionally nice to me in my entire life is the man I'm currently married to (yes, my father is most certainly included in that group, in fact he heads the list as A#1 asshole).

Is he always unconditionally nice to you?
That's a difficult if not impossible standard to live up to.

Even if not intentionally, we all act like assholes sometimes.

Believe it or not, yeah. In 14 years I have never, ever seen or heard of him being mean or selfish. He's the only person I've EVER met that I can honestly say that of though.

As for being a difficult standard ... it's not difficult when you live it, if that makes sense. The only way I can describe it is he's a truly gentle soul.

I don't think I've ever been unconditionally nice to anyone.
What human being can be unconditionally nice?
I never try to hurt anyone.
But sometimes I get pissy and bitch too much, or call someone out on something that is a very touchy subject.
Sometimes I feel guilty and apologize, sometimes I'm glad I did it.

I hate the word nice. "Nice" seems so devoid of any emotional sincerity. I am exceptionally good to the people in my life, but yes - it's conditional. I expect to be treated the same way I treat others, and if I am not - they will get cut off. One of my guy friends recently said to me, "One thing I really really respect about you is this - I've seen you have a few serious relationships, and you will give a guy you are dating the world. You spoil the shit out of your boyfriends. But when they stop deserving it, you aren't afraid to call it quits." (before anyone says he was trying to get in my pants lol...he likes cawk....and has been with the same guy for 13 years now)

Perhaps the word "Nice" is wrong. Reading yours and Nef's posts I realized that the word can have different connotations to different people. I too, have met people who are artificial and saccharine.

Instead of Nice, insert the words "Decent and Kind."

My husband is the first and only man I've ever had a personal relationship with whose ever been absolutely decent to me, never hurt me, never lied to me, never used me and never emotionally manipulated me.

However, I don't consider calling a spade a spade being anything other than forthright, whether you're a man or woman (in fact, we consider honesty 100% critical). And as for occasionally being in a bad mood, that's being human. Since both he and I were abused children it's easy for us to blame ourselves if our s/o is upset or angry. We have a deal, if you're in a bad mood just tell the other that you're in a bad mood and they didn't cause it. Needing that reassurance may be hard to understand but it goes back to some of the emotional manipulation I've lived with. My ex (and my father) were very good at making me feel like their bad mood was my fault, like I failed or fucked up somehow. It's very hard to break out of something that you grew up with and then went and married yourself into, rationalizations and therapy aside, sometimes you just need a little reassurance.

Do you have to work at pissing us men off or does it just come naturally? I mean do you wake up in the morning, put you bitch holsters on and start firing away? Fuck!

they like to see us suffer. they aren't mentally stable. that is a fact.

It's pretty simple, either you respect and care for your mate or you don't. Respect gets you respect and caring/loving gets you the same back. Unless you are looking for empty headed idiots both come male and female. Then please do not breed and when you are old, single, bitter, alone then either eat a bullet or in oceanos case use a short rope.
I agree with MM velvet, tat, smury and the old hag.

Hey Old MAN!... Did you read what MM said in the post that you responded to?

Denying that you are irritated with *the rest of the world* does not = you not being in a bad mood. So, all you gotta do is TELL ME, "Baby - the world got on my one last nerve today, so go easy on me. It isn't YOU..." ... so I won't feel like I did do something to tick you off, when I didn't. But when you are short w/me I still assume blame.

Now you gettin why I just turn off my cell or walk out of the room or leave the house when I can tell you are irritated by something? .... Doesn't matter that I wasn't the one who did it to you. I still feel like I am being blamed because you are in a bad mood and just won't TELL ME.

If you TELL ME about it, maybe the feeling of irritation will leave you sooner?

I am not asking anything that I don't do myself. :)

Now I have to go out and buy a fucking pencil. I can't believe THAT BITCH stole all of my freaking pencils! oi

Don't call him old man...I'll get you in a head lock...Us men have to stick together in defense of the "Dragon Women"

Are ya'll still finding shit missing?

Yeah, she must have needed this stuff more than us. The cases of lamps we bought things that we bought to do our remodel. But hey she has them we just get more to replace what she decided she had to have. Just a bit irritating to pay someone $25 an hour to go get what we already had.

Shit, I needed a stinking PENCIL.

For fuck's sake... it was a fucking PENCIL. You think that the dumb thieving C&NT could have left me ONE stinking pencil.

*sigh*

I guess she needed my pencils more than I did. :faint:

Geezzzz so go buy a pencil factory. We are still looking for a creative logo. AAP and leto are in

I'm going to shove a whole box of pencils up your butt

What is it with pencil factories and boxes of pencils?

I ONLY NEED ONE!

Fuck me, I don't even need an eraser, have several quality erasers.

I just need ONE FUCKING PENCIL... sheesh

How about a crayon?

Believe it or not I have plenty of those. I have all sorts of paints and markers. Even colored pencils but that won't do. I can't work without a plain old no 2 pencil. The ones they sell at the 99 cent only store (I can't afford the dollar store) are very shit quality graphite that won't leave a clean workspace if you have to erase.

I can't draw for shit. I can't paint just *eh*. But when I cut paper I never miss the mark. (How is THAT for a dichotomy) Depending on the shape though I do sketch out or trace the shape I need to assemble what will go onto the background. If I use any pencil other than a no 2 pencil I get fucked because there will be unsightly marks left behind that I have to go back over and camoflage or correct somehow. ugh

I just need a fukkin pencil for cryin out loud.
