Sorry to say HR, but thats what got me too - that "women with low self esteem" crap. Until then, it looked like we are only putting out our thoughts. Maybe you ment it a different way, but re-read it again while thinking that someone else wrote it and you will feel me what I'm saying.

If you think I was saying that you ladies put out for dinner or have low self esteems because you don't mind going dutch, I don't think that at all.

I don't think you, blueta, or superqt have low self esteems or are tramps, in the least. Actually, you three are quite far from that.

My point was that if a woman felt obligated to have sex just because a man paid for her dinner she would have to have a low self esteem.

I'm still not getting this.

I said if "a woman" , which means a hypothetical woman, not you or blueta, or superqt, or anyone else on ef, felt "obligated" that would mean that HYPOTHETICAL woman has a low self esteem.

I was not referring to women who felt that a man would expect sex, like you and blueta may think that they do. So, I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to a hypothetical person who felt a certain way.

By the way, I don't think many men expect sex for paying for dinner on the first date. If they do, they are JERKS, and I wouldn't mind disappointing them, anyway.
