People who are in love don't cheat. The cheater might still feel some closeness/affection/comfort with their SO, but if you don't care enough not to sex someone else, you're not "in love." Both men and women tell their SO's they still love them while they're cheating on them because it is routine/easy, doesn't mean they mean it.
