Damn... I had a system crash. Restored a bunch of stuff and then day to day with the kids-wife-training have pretty much been my life.

The twins are wonderful..They're running around everywhere and having a ball. 15 months old now.

My wife is a basket case! LOL!! Due to the above.

My training is at around 90% of where I was prekids. It took me 6 months to fully adjust.

Life is good bro.
 
Very cool. Sounds as if things are really rolling.

I just took 3 months off from training. Got back in the gym 2 weeks ago, and have already rebounded 9 lbs. I was under 200 lbs. for the first time in 2 years. It feels good to be back at it though.
 
Amazing how quick your body makes a comeback.

I've read several articles that actually promote taking long stints off form training. Some studies suggest that it increases the base layer of skelatal muscle tissue if you have been training, take a long break and then restart.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your return.
 
I think I read the same article or one like it. It is also amazing how I have'nt really lost that much strength during the lay off. My second week back, I was pulling 365 for 2 reps on deads. That felt light. I'll pull 400 plus easy on Fri.
