Wnat to take my wife and kid to NYC this summer.

What's the best airport to fly into? (JFK?)
Where is a good hotel that is less than a small fortune?
where is a "must eat" place?
"must shop"?
what the best way to get from airport to hotel. limo or taxi?
we just want to go from Thursday night to sunday night and take in all the dorky touristy shit and some shopping....kid is only 6.

but I wouldnt take a 6 yr old to NYC for a vacation. if you want to see the sites and some shopping, do it on Adult Only time.

Go to an nice island. NYC is boring if your coming for a vacation. But if you do fly into Newark, rent a car drive to city. I wouldnt stay in the city its way to fucking expensive, try to find something outside Mahnhaten.
