Wish someone could offer me proof of God's existance

THERE is NO NATURAL RELIGION

The Author & Printer W Blake

[a]

The Argument Man has no notion of moral fitness but from
Education. Naturally he is only a natural organ subject to
Sense.

I Man cannot naturally Percieve, but through his natural or
bodily organs

II Man by his reasoning power. can only compare & judge of
what he has already perciev'd.

III From a perception of only 3 senses or 3 elements none
could deduce a fourth or fifth

IV None could have other than natural or organic thoughts if
he had none but organic perceptions

V Mans desires are limited by his perceptions. none can desire
what he has not perciev'd

VI The desires & perceptions of man untaught by any thing but
organs of sense, must be limited to objects of sense.

so you gave up? why? giving up or saying been there done that is giving up! Also did the guy you heard about cut through the sternum to get the heart out or did he just touch him and his problems were relieved? big difference
I have no idea how Jesus did it, or what he did.

But if you want to talk about the laying of hands, I saw this show with this dude Benny Hinn and he took some lady who was paralyzed and made her walk!

THERE is NO NATURAL RELIGION

[b]

I Mans perceptions are not bounded by organs of perception. he
percieves more than sense (tho' ever so acute) can discover.

II Reason or the ratio of all we have already known. is not
the same that it shall be when we know more.

[III lacking]

IV The bounded is loathed by its possessor. The same dull
round even of a univere would soon become a mill with
complicated wheels.

V If the many become the same as the few, when possess'd,
More! More! is the cry of a mistaken soul, less than All cannot
satisfy Man.

VI If any could desire what he is incapable of possessing,
despair must be his eternal lot.

- 2 -

VII The desire of Man being Infinite the possession is Infinite
& himself Infinite

Conclusion, If it were not for the Poetic or Prophetic
character. the Philosophic & Experimental would soon be at the
ratio of all things & stand still, unable to do other than repeat
the same dull round over again

Application. He who sees the Infinite in all things sees
God. He who sees the Ratio only sees himself only.

Therefore God becomes as we are, that we may be as he is

sorry bro, you are my good bro, but benny hinn is a total scam artist and gets rich off these poor sick people or people with sick kids.

The poor bastard native that’s paddled his canoe to a point that he’s seen a nuclear carrier with jet aircraft taking off of them for the first time doesn’t quite understand what’s going on

But, you have to believe something's going on past your comprehension is possible.

Opiate of the masses is right... seriously I only ever wanted proof... like real profof.

If you find out some real evidence.. let me know
I have yet to run across a truely intelligent person who has actually sat down and thought about it long enough that has 100% faith

I'm one of those people who, while I'd love to have faith and believe, I don't. Not because anything bad happened to me, but because I'm just not sure and I think most religious people are either A) brainwashed or B) deep down in side are not sure themselves.

Find a religious person who can speak intelligently about their religion/denomination/faith and not use any logical fallacies and I'll show you a truely respectable person.

If the person you hated most was in heaven, then is it really heaven?
Ooh, good one. That's the shocker at the end of the Majabharata, which is sort of the Hindu "Bible."

Arjuna, the demigod we've been following for about 6,000 pages (this is a THICK book!) finally gets to heaven, and the only people there are his bitter, life-long mortal enemies, all smiling, happy, waiting to give him a big hug and say "Arjuna, welcome! All is forgiven!... Oh, your wife, your brothers, your son whom we killed? They're all in hell. Sorry about that."

Someday I really have to watch the rest of "What Dreams May Come." The setup really has me hooked... the guy's kids die, a few years later he dies trying to help someone and so goes to Heaven; his wife kills herself in despair at losing her entire family, and she goes to Hell.

So he goes to find her.

Now that's a story!

I don't talk about it anymore because I'm disappointed and confused, but I'm one of those that have experienced things from seeking. I no longer seek. My gut feeling is that there is a supreme being. I'm just not so sure I like him right now. I don't like being fucked with.
