Wiping excess oil off pin with alcohol swab?

wiping off the excess is pointless...just leave it on...besides, it's like lubricant for your skin!!! unless of course you're like Glover...just load it up with alcohol...or shit, you could always just cut yourself open and pour alcohol into the cut

I had never thought of wiping it off until I watched a video online and a guy wiped the juice off the needle. It didn't seem like a good idea to me because it seemed like he was inviting infection. Anyhow, I started to wonder about it and was wondering if it was common practice.

IF you decide to wipe off the needle, be sure to be sterile about it...use a fresh alcohol swab and make sure you let it dry before sticking it in your body...sterility is the key to safety

that little bit of extra gear isnt worth it to me that much to leave air in the pin.

Never touch the needle with anything before injecting. If you do, change it for a new one.

Whenever pushing all of the air out of the pin is ok to use an alcohol swab to wipe off whatever excess oil leaks out onto the pin or do you guys just stick it in anyway?

Technically, alcohol swab is not sterilized. There are many germs that are not killed by alcohol. It is also contaminated by touch of fingers.
NEVER touch any thing sterile with anything non-sterile.
That is OR principle.

well when i shoot after if i pull the plunger back there always 0.1 ml left. so if my gear is 250 mg per ml thats 25 mg i waste everytime! im with you on this one wzkid.

Im just a broke ass and sometimes cut my cycles close. Cant stand the thought of even wasting a drop.
