...what it does to your tendons and to the tendon insertions??? It does promote collagen syn but the protein fibrilizations at the musculo/tendon junction become malformed, large, and more prone to rupture. The collagen itself is also said to be less viscous and malformed...lumpy, bigger, fatter tendons....sure, but weaker overall. Coupled with the fact that it does rip the synovial(sp) fluid out of your joints....ie, makes your joints as dry as a camel's ass.....you are more prone to injury on winstrol than most other steroids. A lot of guys gain tons of strength off of it....and you can also gain a shitload of lean mass with it....it seems to turbocharge a cycle though the claims that it frees up other aas by binding to SHBG is being disputed....but those who have used it concurrently with other drugs tend to also notice this effect so....hey, if it is not the SHBG, then it is acting on something else to create the effect.
I'm not knocking it, actually I would use nothing but test, eq, and winstrol every cycle were it not for the collagen syn problem. The workaround is to train lighter in an effort to forego injury....and of course to use GH intermittently throughout the year (when you can afford it) to ensure strong, healthy tendons.
