Winny and hair loss

I am 3 weeks in on 50 mg of winny ed, and I JUST noticied that if I pull through my hair I can pull out hair! Like if I grab and it one or two strands will come out. At first I was like w/e just hair falling out like usual on a normal day, but then I realized I can keep grabbing I did it close to 15 times and more kept coming when I pulled on it! I stopped there cause I was scared i Would lose too much, Im on finasteride and didnt lose close to any on 500 mg of test, but I also a few days ago just started some HCG and was thinking that may be it. Anyways Im thinking of dropping the winny and not finishing up the 4th week I had planned on running it for, good idea? bad? suggestions?

Oh yea wear can I get 2 percent spirolactone? I have 5 percent and use it before bed but it smells way to bad to use during the day.

sounds like a Telogen Effluvium. just to confirm, check whether most of the shed hairs appear to have a white bulb at the end. If they do, and your scalp feels sort of itchy at the spots where you can pull hairs out, and the shedding/thinning is diffuse (ie not limited to classic MPB area) it's likely TE.

If it is a TE, you'll look like a dog with mange for a few months, but most if not all of it will grow back.

and yes, def stop the winny.

yep its def TE then 100 percent sure all those symptoms I have. Do you think maybe it was the HCG, ive dropped the winny but I hadnt had any hairloss like that the first 2 weeks

it takes a few weeks for you to start seeing the effects. the androgen shock kills the hair (actually just sends a larger than normal percentage of the hair into resting phase all at once), then it takes a bit to start itching and shedding (starts to itch when the scalp starts to veiw the now-dead hair as a foreign body and tries to expel it). prob not the hcg -

the good news is hairloss from a TE grows back

To my relief, I also start to observe that frequent reports of hair loss after Winstrol are not caused by its androgenicity, but rather by the stress it causes in the body. The stories about losing hair "a couple of days" after the start of a cycle simply aren't typical for androgenic alopecia. It is telogen effluvium.

I had this same experience after pregnancy, Its usually something you get after a shock to your body pushing a larger percentage of your hair follicles into a temporary resting and then shedding phase, usually lasts for 3 months and then grows back steadily, although some can get CTE which is the chronic form of TE (i got my TE for over a year and lost close to 2/3rds of my hair) scary stuff- especially for a female. All is well now getting better. although not something i would want to experience again, so the best option for guys and girls is to eliminate potential triggers, Get a really good source of vitamin B and hold tight as regrowth goes through about 2 stages, short and fluffy fine baby hairs and then the thicker terminal hair.

Hope this helps

Megan.
