curling did get banned after that thread or sometime around then (i think thats when it happened), and upon his return it was made known he got back partially (or a lot) because he bought a platinum membership(he made a thread about it if i recall correctly). I see what you are saying and somewhat agree with you, so maybe just bombing until enough people become offended and if he remains unapologetic about racist comments, then maybe a banning.

i digress... i am not in any way saying dissention should merit a banning.
