will allergy shots interfere with steroids?

Test in particular? I am about to start Immunetherapy Allergy shots (been getting sick every 2 weeks and allergist said I am allergic to everything in the world) and this may be a 2-5 year process. Will gear (particularly test) interfere at all or react to the allergy shots I will be getting?

NO it wont. But while your on test you immune system will take a dip thus causing more infections from your allergies. I have allergies and as soon as I start a cycle I start getting sinus infections on a regular basis. SUX!

I researched about this a long time ago and NO they will not interfere. Hey consorte, I got that treatment like 12 years ago. Did it for 3 years and worked great! unfortunatelly, I don't know why in the world my allergy came back 10 years later. All of a sudden, from one day to another, I woke up with runny nose, extreme itching, watery eyes and never went away. I might get the treatment again, plus I've heard you can inject yourself so you get pins and syringes...

I have little faith in allergy shots. I got them from the age of 6 up until I was about 30 yrs old and Im still allergic. I didnt feel any worse after I stopped getting the shots. For me they didnt really seem to do much. When I was younger and getting them I still got sick all of the time.

Thing is in today's world of lawsuits, most docs wont let their patients do it at home on their own. I used to do mine back in the late 80s early 90s, but later on they wouldnt let me do it. I think most docs are this way now.

the contents of allery shots are just diluted antigens , so I would have to so no more then peanuts , mold , milk or dust would interfere with them

Yea either way I have been getting sick literally every two weeks. Today they took out 8 tubes of blood because the allergist said it was impossible for me to be so allergic to so many things. I was allergic to everythign except like saline...(water). Anyways, At this point I'll try anything. They have me on allegra 180mg by the morning and cingular at night. I heard test can boost your immune system, not lower it though?...

Not really sure what research shows on the immune response when on exogenous test, but I have heard it said that it lowers immune system. I do know from personal experience that I rarely ever get sick while I am on cycle, but run a greater chance of illness once I go off into pct. Its when you go off cycle that you have to watch for trouble, since your levels are plummeting. A proper pct will help though. When I first started years ago, I really didnt now much about pct and would get sick after almost every cycle I did. Now that I practice a proper one I dont really get sick anymore than when I am on.

I went through all the allergy tests, and shots, and it did not affect my gear, and I still have the allergies.
