Will all the videogamers please stand up?

Now that I'm working and can buy this new area of Games, I'll be rejoining the ranks of the Nintendo Generation. First I'll be buying a PS2 and will be Preordering a Game box soon as I find a place that will take my money for one
 
I recently bought a new computer and will be bringing out of my game storage Tribes, and all of my red alert games. Time to give my new computer and cable modem a challenge
 
Currently we have, classic Nintendo, Gameboy, Sega Genesis [and 32x add on], Playstation, PS2 still on order from Japan, Dreamcast. Roughly over 100 games total .. yeah I'd say we are addicted.

i was a videogamer back in the time when videogames were real..now im a pc-famer...playing Diablo II expansion pack to death right now
 
Game freek here.

I play Starcraft, Warcraft, Age Of Empires, Halflife, Unreal over the cable modem.
 
i play the living shit out of some unreal tournament on PC. few things are more entertaining than getting blazed and then firing up the cable modem and going on a rampage. entertainment for hours on end.
 
What up WHole F/N show! I'm gonna be at oritentation for Life University on July 12-15 brotha...holla at me..

I love to get down on sports games...Madden on PS2, NBA 2k1 for dreamcast, nfl2k1 dreamcast, but other than that nothing..i use to get high and play mario kart on 64 for hours with my housemates a few years back..that and bond...nothing like going 4 on 4 while high on games like that...

I'm pissed dreamcast is gonna stop making games..i bought one before ps2 came out and thought and still think its the shit and better sports game console..any comments or help on that??

WHat does everyone htink of dreamcast?? Get me updated

I love my DC. I have friends w/PS2 and just the DC has way more better game right now. I'm kinda bummed they are discontinuing it but kinda happy too, because I'm buying lots of great games at cut rate prices. I just got Street Figther 3rd Stike and UFC for $25 for both. We need to do some gaming when you get in town man.

Been playing games practically my whole life, from Tiger electronics when I was like 3 or 4, then on to Atari, then the arcades, then Nintendo...aaagh, stop I'm gonna cry, too much nostalgia!

By the way, if anyone wants burned games for CHEAP, PM me, this includes Dreamcast, PC, and PS2
 
The problem with Sega and the Dreamcast is the consumers and developers lost faith in Sega after Sega CD, 32x and Saturn. Sega almost lost lots of moeny over the years so they couldn't market the DC properly. For Sony it was the expect opposite. Sony's been riding the wave of the move successful gaming system of all time. And the had a shitload of money to market the PS2 right. The PS2 jaggies still bother me as well as the hight number of lackluster games. Bring on the Gamecube!
 
I'd rather have an X-Box than the GameCube. The only games I liked for N64 were Revenge, WM, and No Mercy.
 
I think the system I played the most and liked the best, still has to be the good ol' sega genesis. I almost shit myself the first time I played Madden on it. It was quite a step up from Tecmo Bowl.
 
Let's not forget who's making the X-Box either. Billy boy doesn't like to lose.
 
Im frwak espcecially with Flight Sims like F-18 and USAF WWII and Rogue Spear.... 2 hours a day
 
Yup Big Poppa Gates hates losing but lets face facts. The last successful American videogame system was Collecovision. I would like to see the X-Box box succeed.

The hard drive on the X-Box has some serious potential. Patches, updates, and roster changes for sports games just to name a few possibilities.
 
PS2 is getting hard drive and online support as well. See the new Electronig Gaming Monthly.
 
The Xbox also features an 8 gigabyte hard disk, a first in console machines. Sony is planning a PlayStation 2 hard drive add-on, but since all PS2 owners won't buy this device, PS2 developers can't count on it for game development. The inclusion of a hard drive in every single Xbox machine, however, means that game makers can utilize massive writable storage in game creation. Imaginative developers will no doubt find some interesting uses for this extra space.

There one thing though Burning_Inside. Americans have never really supported console add-ons. Probably the most sucessful one was the Ram Pak for the N64 and that thing was only $20.
 
what sega didnt relise over here is that marjeting sells ganmes, and so does getting game developers on your side. the saturn got alost no publicity over here, and dreamcast were always slow to release games, and didnt even convert sdome of the jap games. as a result while the saturn did well in japan it bombed here, even though its vastly superior to the playstation, which really isnt all that but was well marketed.

so over in europe, no one bought dreamcasts and waited for the PS2.....so much so that they started offeruing a dreamcast/multioreigon DVD combo! an no one bought that either....sheesh! at leat the head of sega europe got sacked....loser. my mate bought a sega saturn and boy was he pissed, the playstauion was the worst console out at the time yet it did the best!

i really dont trust bill gates....:mix:
 
The Xbox definitely has the most potential as far as games go, the included hard drive will make a huge impact on the games. There will be NO patches what so ever for the xbox, Microsoft has stated this many times.

Sony shot themselves in the foot by rushing out the ps2, They screwed themselves by not including a hard drive and an Ethernet card.
 
u ever been to an electronics show....the jap girls they have on almost every stand, they come up to these dirty little old men/programmers ( ;) ) and hug them.

i wanna be rich....then i'd have 2 beautiful playboy twins. DAMN IT!! im never gonna be that rich :(
 
no mine was only $50 I got it on sale at toy's r us

the graphics were cool for the 32x games, but not that much of a difference for $179
 
Im a gamer, Im also the self proclamed RPG king, Squaresoft determines what system Ill like best usually, Im gonna die of impatience waiting for Final Fantasy 10 to come out, it has the best graphics I have ever seen in any game
 
i neve rliked thFF-series...its supposed to be a RPG game..but to me its over the top..and plus its so frigging sexual man..the chicks walk around nearly nekkid..and its a computer game
