Why wait for next Cycle?

glover

New member
Just finished 12 week cycle. Felt very good made great gains in strength and muscle. I think gained 20 lbs and dropped of those 12 lbs so net 8 lbs. Did PCT and feel almost normal a little more tired than while on. Sleep more though.

I have been off for a month. Why should I wait if blood work is good?

Arguments for against!!

If you blood work is good, then go for it. Is your blood work good? I'm assuming you are about 3-4 weeks off? You still may lose mass over the coming weeks though.

An argument against is that over the coming weeks is when you natural levels will still be recovering. If you had a long acting ester, there still may be exogenous testosterone still in your body. So the point is to wait until all of that is out and make sure your natural levels have recovered. 4 weeks is too short of a time to assess that.

What was your cycle? What was your P C T and how long? And how long has it been since you finished P C T?

Consider yourself lucky and let your body settle in and normalize. You may think you'r 100% but if you go back too soon, you'll not only have a harder time recovering but the gains won't be as good as they would next time if you fully recovered -- that includes liver, BP, prostate, all hormones, cholesterol etc -- not just how you "feel."

Cycle started May 1 and was
Weeks 1-6 Var 40 mgs NPP and Prop 75 mgs EOD
Week 6-10 Winny 40 mgs NPP and Prop 75 mgs EOD
Week 10-12 Winny 40 mgs Prop 75 mgs EOD
Nolvadex and 500 iu HCG EOD till 5000 iu used

Cycle ended July 24th last Winny Prop dose. Last pct Aug 6th. I am 44 yrs old

Why would gains be better after fully recovered? That does not seem logical to me. To bring my body back to normal then to get back on and shut down natural production again.

So your P C T was only 2 weeks long? and it's been 2 weeks since you've finished P C T? Definitely start off with bloodwork, but I would definitely take more time-off before hopping back on. Especially given that you ran a nandrolone (even if it is N P P)... its side effects can rear its ugly head long after you've finished P C T. Excuse the age comment, but it becomes more and more important to recover properly as you get older. And if you're still feeling a little tired these days, that's your body telling you to give it more time.

You don't see how gains would be better if the body was recovered and producing more T on it's own as opposed to being in state dependant on exogenous T? That's too much to explain here. One thing I will say is you must lose the notion that going back on "shuts you down." That is a total misconception. You are supressed, not shut down. And exactly how much you are supressed will make a big difference in your gains.

Blood values may be "normal", but while "on cycle" you are also manipulating the receptors for protein synthesis, intracellular nitrogen balance, androgen receptors, etc....did you have your receptors checked along with your blood??

Hormone receptors need time to recover, otherwise you may not see the same gains.....one of the main reasons that pros eventually resort to HGH, insulin.....the dosages required for nominal gains become outrageous when you are always "on"....give it some time, fully recover......then give it hell

there's some good pics of my hrt I just posted on my gallery....lol
Or is that my cycle gear..hmmm

Actually I would wait 2-4 more weeks to fully recover then hit it hard again. I agree that even though you "feel" good you will prob get much better gains on next cycle with just a little more time off. Just my opinion...

Blood work first...Your probalby not fully recovered after only 1 month. Keep training hard for AT LEAST another month. I recently found out I have a blood disorder after doing blood work for my upcomming cycle. I'd wait for the results to ensure you are OK. Good luck!
