why is Hollisterco Cheaper then Abercrombie?

I know you guys dislike Abercrombie alot, but here in canada there is 0 abercrombie shit. So people wearing it is either from the states or they are like me got a few Ts while, in the states. Around here wear AF is pretty original, instead of all Diesel, Puma and Kappa oh and energie.
Around here alot of dumb ugly kids sport Head to toe Diesel(so lame, how original).

the great economic concept of consumer surplus... abercrombie is about as corporate'minded clothing company as there is out there. They are simply trying to appeal to a mass that through extensive market research, a.) prefers hollister stuff to abercrombie, and b.) isn't willing to pay what abercrombie buyers do... a lot more low level image marketing is also employed by abercrombie and hollister... either way, i don't like them both, but if that style flies in your neighborhood, reap the benefits of cheap clothign :D

hollister is owned by abercrombie... it just targets a younger crowd

i also herd the same company will be opening a store for the 'older crowd' soon as well, probally like a banana republic or jcrew type deal

for wahtever reason, i think you're from ontario right? k well abercrombie is big time played out here too bro. I remember i started wearing it in like gr 11 and it was cool then, but the times have changed. I agree with your thoughts on diesel, i love the company, but the fat greaseballs that sport the stuff totally kill it... Anyways if you're looking for cool, slightly edgy trendy stuff like tshirts, look into Volcom. They've been around for a bit, cater mostly to boarders, and they have some amazing clothes. They've really stepped up the "logo centered on a plain black tshirt" image and taken their designs to new levels... awesome stuff, pretty affordable, and not yet overplayed

that said, i still have some really nice abercrombie stuff, but you'd never know it was A&F unless you saw the label

I've seen some of the Volcom stuff and it looks really good, but the skater thing isn't really me. It just seems like the name and skating are too attached right now.
