I have read that some people don't use a AI during cycle.
Why is that?

Totally blocking out all estrogen has a knock on effect that your cortisol mechanisms are also knocked off sync, and you need that to mobilise energy stores so lack of estrogen can result in fatigue. Probably not best to let it run totally unchecked tho, like dylangemelli said, use one but in the right amount, some estrogen is beneficial.
Great thread, and I'm beginning to think my estrogen levels are really low or totally killed. Joint aches are killing me and fatigue is a killer these days.... I just can't think of any other reason for these sides. Anyway, on to the question, assuming that this is the case ( killed estrogen levels)' what's the proper protocol to ease them back up, and what would be the timeframes for it to happen?
I'm taking .5 of aridex EOD... Should I stop for a day/days/week/weeks etc? Or just cut the dose to .25 EOD or .5 every third day? Just not sure of the right way to do this to ease my sides but yet also not introduce risk of Gyno... Thoughts?
