Why is the ex calling me?

WTF I'm married. We broke up over 4 yrs ago. Why out of the blue did he call me today and when I answered (didnt recognize the #), he makes a weird noise like "OOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" so then i knew it was his goofy ass and I hung up.
one minute later, he sends me a text I didnt respond to:
"what you turn 40 and suddenly you lose your sense of humor?"

um hello. I'm not 40 and he isn't even funny.

and then immediately another text i didnt respond to:
"OOOOOO OOOOOOOOO lol"


wtf? why do people behave this way? does this mean he's bored with his life and he is looking for some attention?

When so much has been in our past. When things have been so mixed up. It can get hard to just call and say hi blah blah.

When you just can't find the words to just say. When all you really want is to here them because you really do miss them. Ya its hard.

I have never ever don this in m life but I can see the point.
 
Two years after my ex left me for another woman, he saw me in a store and I walked right past him. He called my friend, went to her house and cried that he was still in love with me and how seeing me again made him realize it. He then showed up at my front door 6 months after that with cat food for the 6 cats he left me with.

My last ex who was the addict emailed me a few weeks back asking if I ever had a restraining order against him (I didn't) and if I wanted to go for drinks

Men are precious and for some reason can never let go.

It's not easy but he should've been prepared, especially after all this time.

umm maybe he misses u? if i called a long time ex it would be because i missed her in general ..after sex 10,000 times with the same person .. what is really left unexplored?
 
I'd say he was thinking about you and missing you or the past with you,.... or he wants to bang you.... or both..... Could it be anything else?

No I don't think it's that. Men like to try to test the water and see if there is a chance of dipping their toe in it every once and a while.

Every once and a while I think of the ex and although the sex was good reality sets in when I remember how much of a bitch she was.

Many men are just down and dirty and LOVE to try to *tag that ass just one more time.... that is, if the ass is willing*. They wait for X amount of time to go by and reach out innocently to see if the female is receptive.

I had an ex call me on my 40th birthday last year. The number was blocked so I had no clue who it was. MY HUSBAND answered the phone... that shit was rich. Dollars to donuts he will be ringing my fone again this year "just to see"..... :lmao:

I get several dudes emailing/calling/texting me from time to time "just to see if I am still married"... or "just to see if I am HAPPY".... yea, ok.

gahh, admittedly i wasnt that great of a gf (not attentive enough, busy being a single mom witih 2 jobs, etc) but i just realized that perhaps he cant let go because i was his "first"
