To be perfectly honest most guys only feign interest in THE REAL WOMAN (meaning the human being with baggage and imperfections) so they can tap her ass. Now, in order for the guy to be secure that she won't be giving her pussy to anyone else he makes her *think* that he cares for her. But the second she becomes attached to him, the hunt is over and no need to conquer = bail for a new pussy to conquer. That is EXACTLY when the woman needs to just let him go about his business and say, "Seeya suckah" call her girl and go out and get him out of her system. Surprize, surprize his sorry ass will be back before you even had a chance to miss him. Sad, but true.

ALL MEN function this way (at least in the beginning). No guy wants to boink a chick if he thinks that she will boink someone else. If in the process, he truly DOES develop feelings for her then he will straighten up and fly right. THE WORST thing a woman can do is pursue the man. That will seal her fate for future abuse until he gets SO BORED with it that he won't even be calling for the occasional late night booty call.

well covergirl i believe it is a function of evolutionary biology. its not very romantic but reality usually isnt. in the scheme of men propagating the species there is no place for emotions. actually emotions might be counter productive in that a man could spread more of his seed without attachment to any particular love interest.
as far as "pair bonding" emotions are very important and quite necessary for long term monogamous relationships. the human psyche does not concern itself with anything outside of evolution, thats what "therapy" is for.
