Why is my browser so slow?

Nothing else on the PC is slow. It loads applications and Programs (Photoshop, MS Office, movies, etc..) fast as hell.

But for the last 3-4 days, the browser is so damn sluggish. Like if I type in the EF url or Yahoo or anything, it just sits there for about 3-4 mins doing nothing. Like it is frozen.
If I refresh the page, the same thing happens.

I have run 3 different spyware/malware programs and gotten rid of 2 detections. I upgraded from IE7 (which I thought was the reason for it being slow) to IE8 and still same thing.

If I go to Isohunt (cough*puretna*cough) it takes forever to load the page, then if I click on a torrent, it takes forever for the torrent page to load, then I click on the DOWNLOAD NOW button and it takes forever to refresh with the torrent opening. But as soon as the torrent is opened and loaded into Utorrent, it downloads fast as hell. Just like normal.

I have tried MOzilla and Safari and it does the same damn thing with being sluggish.

Now watch when I click the Submit New Thread button it will take about 5 mins to get me back on the next page.

Oh yeah.. Task Manager > System Idle Process = 97% or higher.... so no clues in there.

check your network settings. Could be that your DNS server is down or needs to be changed. if you have several you could just trying changing the order of them.
