It doesn't matter how many times people make the observation to you that the vast majority of the world's AIDS cases are heterosexually transmitted, does it? You just can't accommodate that in your little pinheaded world view that AIDS is all about homosexuality...so you just ignore it and pretend it's a problem limited to the U.S. and gays. I nominate you for the Flat Earth Society's annual Public Health Myopia Award.

Nothing's absolutely right or wrong, just some things are more acceptable to and in certain situations, and all int he view of what you see as right or wrong to that situation in the first place.
Anyway, being a homophobe is just about as bad as being a...negrophobe or whatever, I guess that would be the word.
There's no honest GOOD reason to hate or be afraid of someone for their sexual preference, just as there's no good reason to hate someone just for their skin color, eye color, bathing habits, eating habits, or whatever.
If you think you have a "good" reason, you simply don't. You're just brainwashed by the the anti part of society to think it's wrong and to fear it.
See, homophobia isn't natural, it's a sociologically induced phobia or hate or angst or whatever. If you grew up on an island with a whole bunch of people, and since day 1, there's been homosexual behavior on that island, there would be no way in hell you'd hate it or fear it. It'd be normal.
Howwever in the real world, homophobia has indeed benn going on since day 1, but somewhere in time, people started to hide it, I guess because of religious persecution, and recently now that things have loosened up int he modern age, people are coming out of hiding, and there's plenty of these ignorant closed minded homophobes running around that see it as wrong, or they hate it or fear it because they can't see for themselves that there's nothing wrong with it. These are the people that can't handle deviation from the usual that they're accustomed to. They instead choose to just go with the "popular" route of making fun of them and saying it's bad and sick and whatnot, when in fact they just cannot give a good reason as to why they think this. They can't give one of course, because they never sat and thought it out for themselves, it's just a social induced train of thought that was placed their in their heads. Brainwashed, if you will, into thinking it's bad.

Homophobes are simply insecure about their own sexuality.
The thought of touching a person of the same sex gives them a tingle in their nads and they respond with fear, belligerence and sometimes violence.
Gay guys sometimes try to pick me up. I just smile and tell them it ain't my bag.

Exactly, Snuka..that's what i was trying to explain to my best friend the other nigth while we were stoned. I asked him how he felt to be brainwashed, and it all went from there. He's just one of those ignorant manly men ya know? He used to be somewhat open minded, actually, he shows his open mindedness whenever he gets a new woman, which is not too often cause all he does is work and play this Everquest game on the computer,....... but ANYWAY, yeah, you'll notice him changing his attitude to mach that of the woman, like suddenly all of a sudden he likes to watch Buffy, the vampire slayer, ya know? He's just like that, he's the poster child for the manly man ignorance. I told him if he's such a manly man, and was 110% sure of his sexual preferance, then he wouldn't have any of this fear and anxiety if a gay guy ever came on to him, like what, are you afraid you might realize you're gay or something and your ego would come crashing down upon you and you'd go catatonic or something?
I mean, if you know your place, you'd have no trouble just saying that ya don't swing that way and let the person go off and be happy ya know?
I mean ignorance leads to hate and frustration, and lots of people just aren't stable enough to contain it and just decide to lash out rather than deal with it in a decent fashion.
