Not sure what program you're in but I'll most likely be studying or at my internship. Right now, I'm taking a nice break, enjoying relaxing/working, and having fun. Come fall, it's time to bust my ass.

Oh yeah- and attempting? I'll call you in 5 yrs when I have my Doctorate. I'll buy lunch.

hey dipshit, i've already got my master's and done my internship and got a job.. why the fuck would I be studying when I'm not in school? Unless you are going to med school you won't be making any more money than me.. getting your doctorate in psychology is worthless w/o med school

LOL! Boy - your program failed you or lied to you. I don't care how much money I make, btw. That's not why I'm doing it. I can now see what your motivation was. Great reason, you are definitely cool now. You define yourself by the amount of money you make... how obvious. Come on psych guy, person with low self esteem, defining himself and boosting his thoughts of "self worth," by his income? Sounds accurate.

P.S. Hate to break it but Doctorate's can teach at the collegiate level, charge higher rates, can be used in criminal courts and be paid a larger amount, etc. I've done my research and talked to a lot of people who know about this stuff. That's the great thing about knowing a shitload of people with experience in this field. Come over here and tell that to the psychologists I know who make 250,000 a year. You aren't very intelligent, it seems.

That's what you are relying on? Go look up what the average Doctor makes and then compare that to the Doctor that is the cardiologist. Perfect example. I plan to do MANY things with my life as a psychologist (once my degree is obtained & I gain more experience). I have already started building my foundation for what I plan to do, but that is strictly my palaver.

P.S. I have plans to include a business as well. It will tie into my private practice once I establish that. As I said, I have many plans to HELP people and hopefully I WILL make good money because I want to do GOOD things with my money. That's my goal, my friend. Pull all your internet stats up. They don't appeal to me nor are they accurate for what I am planning on doing. I'm sure for the average joe (psych wise), those numbers are accurate. I promise you I won't be sitting on my ass the minute I get out in the field. And I cannot wait....
