why I hate Home Depot-

the service sucks, the parking is f--d up, the stuff you buy is always borken or half the pieces are missing. The return line is HUGE & understaffed... I WILL never go in that effing store again.

anyone else??? how does this shitty store stay in business.

I have a friend who ordered doors from them & after 2 months never came in. She asked when they would be in & got told "I don't know....."

I haven't had any probs with the one I go to. They created a new policy just cuz of me returning paint.

i bought a bbq there but had to return it... i lost my receipt though... so i could only get store credit. FORTUNATELY for me there was an inept freshman on the register and he gave me 600 in store credit for a 400 $ bbq... i was stoked :D ran out of stuff to buy though after like 200 bux.

I don't care for the service at the one near me, but I did get a great deal on some floor tile that they were closing out back in December. :D

I think you have to be inept to work there... I mean on the way out the exit doors (marked EXIT just in case your brain-dead)-- the security moron asks to see your receipt??? WTF!! so theres another huge line at the exit door

I HATE when there`s no one to help you in the aisles. You look around for 10 minutes just to find ANYONE!!! So I resrt to this (now it`s even in a commercial) I start climbing the racks/scaffolding in a very dangerous way and someone comes to tell me "Sir, you can`t do that" Then I say "Oh OK I need help here... " lol

When HomeDepot came to town it really put Builder's Square out of business. Now Lowes is here and the difference is huge! I just recently painted a room and Lowes was much better.

Whoever created those self checkout things at HD should be shot with a cannon. Those things are GEIGH!

Uhg! what are you talking about? The self-checkout is the only thing that is actually worth something at Home Depot. I'm always in and out.

The more you go, the worse they treat you.

I was going almost every day since June. Lots of returns of course. Now they require a manager to approve all returns. I don't use receipts because I have over a hundred and it gets confusing. Store credit is also better than cash to me.

I am going to give more buisiness to Lowes. To hell with waiting 10 minutes for the manager every time I return a few things.

Wow, okay, I guess that I am the only one who likes them then. Springfield IL, no problems there. But I guess every one can't be as smart and kick ass as Illinoians!! hehehehe

The uncle of my of one of my ex boyfriends was a slip and fall artist. After 3 successful "accidents" he decided to hit Home Depot. He targeted the paint isle.

The plan was to pull down a few paint buckets on himself, then fall down. Unfortunately the shelf apparently tilted or fell and a few dozen gallons of paint fell on him. He suffered serious injuries to his head, neck and shoulders.

At the time I last talked to my ex he told me that Depot had disovered his uncle's previous scams and were counter suing.

ignoring all of that - are you "Sanity Poison" (without all the jazz on it)?

That user went by a different name for a bit - I see it in your sig.

Just curious.

As for Home Depot, I used to work at a place similar to that, but it is only in upstate NY for the most part. People come in and they want high quality luxury stuff, but don't want to pay for it. Come on - it is one or the other - you either get nice shit and you have to pay for it, or you go to a place like that and get crap, but it is cheap.
