ok. My understanding of the situation is this.

They were flying back from the bahamas (or some country), and they were packing too much onto the plane. The pilot said 'you can't pack all the stuff, the plane isn't strong enough', aaliyah & her entourage ignored him. As a result the plane crashes.

I just looked this issue up and found out that they found coke & alcohol (trace amounts) in the pilots system.

While i'll admit that if the plane went down due to his inebriation & inexperience, that doesn't take aaliyah off the hook. She & her entourage choose to overload a twin prop plane with spandex pants & microphone cables, and the plane crashed. Why is she suddenly a victim & martyr now? Thats like falling asleep with a cigarette in your mouth that catches the rug on fire & kills you. You aren't a martyr or victim, you are irresponsible.

blaming someone for a plane crash is pretty low. Every day we do things that could due to someone else's screw up, make us get killed. We never *plan* on DYING because of it. Not being 100% perfect in life is no reason to have your life taken away.
