why does every fricken thread I view become subscribed

I have subscribed to seriously two threads in a few yrs on elite and now its every fricken thread I even look at becomes subscribed

I unsuncribe and the next time I log in theyre back

what crap is this I say

I thought it was only the ones you reply on that you become subscribed to. Mine doesn't subscribe to the ones I look at or it would drive me nuts as well.

you get subscribed because you post in them.

Go change your "options" to "do not subscribe" then you won't get subscribed to any threads at all.

you should set "Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received" to NO also. That would just get annoying as hell.

I changed up the settings...no new ones populated...had to go through and unsubscribe to all the old ones
