Why do some people with convertibles drive with the top down & windows up?

When the top is up, I have lean forward to see if the traffic light has changed. Maybe I should stop a little further back from the pedestrian line.

Agreed, when I had my 300M, I opened up the sunroof, and it felt like a convertible, without the hassle of dropping the roof.

the girl that bought my eye catching but unreliable P. O. S. fiat 124 convertible (more of an expensive adult toy than an autombile!) told me she bought mine above all others she looked at because of the hard-to-find airconditioning option and the bolt on hardtop.

I had a rental convertible once in the fall, and it was a bit cool out.

So I ran the heater on full blast with the top down and the windows
up to stay warm..
