Why do some people with convertibles drive with the top down & windows up?

It's a convertible so it would be awaste to ahve to top on. I guess they roll up the windows so that they dont mess up their hair.

Also, if there's tint on the windows, keeps the glare off the eyes.

I had a rental convertible once in the fall, and it was a bit cool out.

So I ran the heater on full blast with the top down and the windows
up to stay warm..
