1. Your eyes were opened because you kicked a drug habit. Why do you have to attribute that to your god? why can't you come to the conclusion that you had the inner-strength to kick it instead of believing that these drugs were so powerful only a god could beat them?

3. what is there to understand? i have the strength to accomplish ANYthing i put my sites on.. without having to believe in a god.

We are not meant to understand everything that has happened or will happen. We probably could not fathom it anyway.

why shouldn't you have the right to understand anything you want?and why must you have so little faith in YOURSELF that you automatically assume you are uncapable of understanding such things.

to all those who have posted saying how much they believe in their god and how god helped them through this and that and how if they didn't have god they'd be dead:

analyze your posts with a little more scrutiny and you will see that all of your posts reek of low self-esteem and lack of inner-strength..


religion is for the weak.

modern mankind has existed for over 30,000 years and has devised well over 1,000 religions - monotheistic and polytheistic - throughout his existence. all have been abandoned by their people who, once not getting what they want, have abandoned them for kinder, more forgiving, more generous gods. your religion will also be replaced by one that the people feel

religions have resulted in more deaths than any other disease or political war in history. how many catholic priests have raped little girls, or molested little altar boys. how many christians have left church on sunday to go make a sport of killing harmless animals the next day and call it a sport. how many baptists are like the reverend jesse jackson and have had extra-marital affairs? how many catholic churchs will not let another human being consume the body and blood of christ simply because they don't strictly follow that religions dogma?

yet these people BELIEVE so therefore they will go the promised land.. the place with no suffering.. HA!!

the sooner you come to realization that there is no god, the sooner you will find strength within YOURSELF!!!

the sooner you accept the fact that life is suffering the sooner you will find the way out of suffering - alone, without the help of an outside entity.

I will pray for you...I honestly will. If you die tomorrow and there is a Heaven and a God...what will you tell him. You can laugh and act tough on here, or even in the real world, but what happens if there actually is a God? When you meet him and he asks you why you did and said all of these things...what will you say? Will he laugh and judge you just as you do him? Will he not believe in you?

Hey...maybe there is no God and maybe it is all in my mind...but I have been given the choice to either believe or not believe by conviction. You have not been convicted to believe yet...I pray that you will.

1. Why do I attribute it to God, because I have no choice. You apperantly know very little about drugs, or the effect they have on your body.
The physical withdrawl that I should have experienced from the opium alone should have been enough to put me in the hospital, much less the crack and cocaine. But in addition to not having those, I never wanted to quit, I simply asked to be changed as God saw fit. The next day no withdrawls, no cravings, was able to hold a pipe full of opium and simply not want it. Find a 12 step program that can accomplish that, I challenge you to find ANY rehab program that would claim to come even close to those results.

Bah I wish, I tried for 4 years to stop being fat, I tried everything I could, my craving for food and overeating was so bad even on the types and amounts of drugs I was using I still ate like a pig. I'd love to have the inner strength to make that kind of change.

3. Anything? Well hopefully I'll see you in Heaven if you can make it, but with out God through Jesus' sacrifice its not happening

4. I never said he can't beat Satan, but at this time God allows him the rein. Why? So more people can accept His Son, and be saved.

God is not slow as come count slowness, simply patient that more may repent and come to Him.

Why did God choose this way, I don't know, but I accept Him as perfect and don't question why He would.

5. How can you say that I don't know that, I'm a christian, and take joy in life despite the hardships

As for your arguements about how people die for religion, and how bad preists are. Again your focusing on what people do with God's plan, can't seem to find the passage in the bible commanding raping children.
Again saying the whole system is bad because what people do with it, is like saying lifting weights is bad because some people get obsessed, or get hurt doing it.

Would you still believe in "God" if he wanted to, instead of curing your addiction, saw your arms off and replace them with chicken wings? I reckon you'd be pretty irate about that.
