Why do posts get moved?

Like Curling's post on which rock bands worship god? By that logic any posts about music should be moved to the music board, any posts about training should be moved to the training board. Any posts about sex should be moved to the between the sheets board. Any posts about going out or partying should be moved to that board. Any posts about appearance or style should be moved to that board. Any posts about steriods (like Peyote Killa's) should be moved to the anabolic board.

In the end, what is really left to talk about in Chat and Conversation.

Maybe we need an international and domestic politics board, a karma board, a career and development board and an irreverant board and then we can just eliminate the Chat and Conversation board altogether.

True 'dat. But it just seems silly why you would want to segregate certain posts based on content. Does anyone even go to the music board?

I think for specific things like DIET or STEROIDS, the thread should be moved. But for general crap like music and stuff, and does no harm keeping it here.

I guess since the boards already exist this makes sense, but I think the point is whether there is a need for such boards.

I think it helps to filter some of the specific information.
