Why do People take Drugs?

I would never understand why people take drugs right at the first place. That's probably because I have never taken any drugs at all. I have friends who have done drugs and they say that it just makes them feel better or change the way they feel or yet it makes them avoid their problems and some just want to fit in or they are bored or worst some just do it because they think it makes them look cool.


Is seems so weird though that some ppl think by taking drugs that it will solve their problem out but yet in reliaty the problem is still there. Worse situation is not only do they still have to deal with their problem , they have to deal with it when they are not thinking straight.

i guess it feels good to certain people, for me it does not at all. i feel horrible when i'm high on weed so i'll stop there. i hate pain killers too. i've been in really bad pain at times but i rather be hurting then high on some pain killers. besides that i don't any other experience with drugs. i'm not a big drinker either, i have to be in the mood. to each their own as long they aren't harming themselves and their lives.

I have done every drug under the sun short of H-bomb and meth, and in large amounts. I am one of the most successful people I know my age and one of the most responsible, mature, and intelligent. I'll admit that there have been times in my life where I let things get pretty out of control. But I never missed work, missed school, had ANYBODY ever think anything was up. I've done pretty much everything under the sun, a lot of the things you'd probably think were the "worst" are probably things I've done the most.

At this point that's something I'll do socially from time to time. I really fail to see how it's that different from drinking. Other than the occasional glass or wine or two I don't drink.

The only drugs I've abused as an escape of any sort were paid for by my insurance company and given to me by my dr.

Drug use enhances everything in a person's life: depression, mood swings, bizzare eating habits, nauzea, bankruptcy, trashed relationships, health problems, etc, etc. What's not to like?



The key is that if you're going to take drugs, do so in moderation. Even then they weren't enough to keep me for one interested.
