I think that some threads have a central idea..and that idea is discussed with varing vantage points.

When someone makes a post on a tangenial idea-then that would be off topic..

for example-if someone it talking about soccer and asks someone on the post a question about their penis-then to me that would be off topic.

YOU HAVE A POINT BUT I'M TALKING ABOUT PUTTING "OFF TOPIC" IN THE TITLE OF THE THREAD. NOT INSIDE THE THREAD ITSELF.
