There are a few groups of men that make it a point to stick up for women when it doesn't matter. Two of them are virgins and gays.

Its good to be respectful, period. But, some times its just not going to be that way.. I dont even think its a guy girl thing, its a people thing.. sex (i.e. gender) just happens to be the most simple bucket to separate people in... when you have a problem, its way to easy to chalk it up to opposite sex having some problem.. people do it with race, religion etc.. I think a lot of people have to focus on their own shit before they start picking on everyone else... Me included.. because I do it myself, as much as most do.. I dont know..?

An interesting point, especially coming from the same people attacking "geeks" in another topic. Women are as equal as men are, and if they talk the same amount of shit as men do... then what does that say about men as well?... men talked shit first, then women replied because they were liberated from the belief that they just tucked their tales between their legs and hide when a man was ranting. Any man who thinks they are better are actually a lesser because they can't catch up with the modern times, they are the outcasts and the poor, pathetic fools that drag society back because they don't want to change their beliefs.

i think expecting women to be 'better' than they really are is most of it. Women are just poeple. Some are mature, some aren't. Some have something to offer interpersonally, some don't.

If you stop depending on women to be something other than just people with vaginas they won't bother you. Not all are immature or shallow. Many are sometimes, some are much of the time. BUt not all are 100% of the time.
