Why did I go to Wal-mart?

I went in one today, and I have come to the conclusion that every nutcase in the world is in that place.

First an employee gathering shopping carts almost ran me down.
Then there was this strange person wandering the store talking to himself. There were the people that acted like they have never been out in public before, from the man picking his nose to the woman digging her pants out of her butt. The children there were running around like they had just got out of a two year stint in prison. Then I get up to the cashier and she is bitching because she had not got her break. She started telling the lady in front of me about her feet hurting and her hemorhoids. I'm sorry but I don't want to hear about that, just ring my groceries up and I can go home.


Now I remember why I avoid that place like the plague.

Now it's great for stuff... The trick, it's open 24 hours so go late at night when it's empty. Otherwise you will go mental

This place was packed, of course it was around 1 o'clock so what did I expect.


I even hate going there late at night.

I just hate shopping, I need a professional shopper to shop for me.

yeah i hate shopping as well, its like a cattle market, children wailing, people pushing trolleys with no thought as to whats in front of them.....its hard not to lose your temper in there so i just get mah shit and leave asap

I can't stand Wal Mart. It's making consumer sheep of us all...it swarms towns with supercenters a few block away from existing Wal Mart stopres, which it then closes and leaves vacant, and snuffs mom-and-pop shops out of business by selling sweatshop-produced Third World clothes and plastic crap.

Shopping at wal mart late at night , at least around here, is like weird dudes squared. I see some people that i truly wonder where the hell they come from. That place is just too big. Its not quick. And its too big too. I need something and i have to park 2 miles away, then walk across the bagillion square foot wal mart itself. Who needs a store that big. Target is much nicer, better products, easier to go to.

Hey the sad thing about Walmart....is that it represents the pinnacle of civilization for many in this country..........damn our culture is dead


when literally thousands upon thousands parade the isles of walmart, and truly think that...."hey this is it, this is just great"

our society is sick from the educated consumer ala' Nordstroms.......down to the depths of the varietal Jerry Springer consumer...

our society resembles a bunch a children on a perpetual quest in the pursuit of toys ( aka goods).........

........and happyness to them is showing there toys to others, in the hope of seeking validation through purchase, while condescending on others who cannot buy what they "have".........sad, sad, sad...........


does this make sense to anyone?

I like going to Electronics and sporting goods and finding steals on clearance and then selling em on Ebay!! Some times I just end up keeping them though.

I don't know, I liked the big walmarts back home. here in Maryland all they have is the old school walmarts. And it is worse than the super one by far. Only running 3 registers with 20 people in lines constantly. Target is far better up here.

Now I don't buy groceries at Wal-mart, but in Upstate New York and Northern Penn we have Wegman's. I live about 2 miles from their flagship store, which is HUGE, probably twice the size of the Wal-mart superstore here in Roch. Now everbody and their weird bother is in this store between 4 PM and 6:30 PM. On the weekends in the morning you can't get in the place unless you're over 60.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I can't walk into that place unless it's after 8 PM, and I since I'm such a slacker I have to go shopping at least once every 2 or 3 days.
