Well... I think if you have a past with someone and if one person still loves the other, friendship is out of the question. That person will always try to get the other back, even if it's subconsciously.

This is true. I have guy friends, but only one that I'm really close to. We've been friends for almost 13 years and there has never been any attraction. He's like another brother to me.
