I'm sick and tired of people thinking that because I'm a trainer I have to hold their hands 24/7. I got an email last night from a woman. She had four sessions bought for her as a gift (from her boss of all people) back in December and did not come in to do one until mid January citing she was too busy over the holidays. After that session it took her two weeks to prompt to book again, and when I suggested a time I didn't get a response.
Now, SEVEN weeks later she sends my manager an email complaining that I am never available to see her and she wants her money back. I checked the logs and she has been in the club ONCE since that one session in January. She also said that she wants credit for the sessions because she doesn't want to train with anyone else because they won't be available either. At this point she sounds like a wingnut to me and I'm pissed off.
Just to put down what I would love to say to her face but can't: If you think for one second that my job involves being your baby sitter then you're sorely mistaken. If you don't have enough motivation to exercise more than once every two months I'm not dealing with you because you're obviously not ready for anything close to what you need. When you are sitting on your ass complaining about how you can't lose weight remember the two months you wasted being a bitch instead of taking some personal responsibility and getting your ass off the couch and into the gym. And with your attitude I'm not surprised you're divorced.
Why can't people look at themselves and realize that the situation they got themselves in is their own fault instead of being idiots and blaming other people?
