why aren't I getting any bigger???

I'm just starting my 3rd week of a sust/EQ cycle, at 500mgs each/week. I expected to see some changes by now, but I haven't gained a single pound. I know that EQ doesn't cause water retention, but I thought that 500mgs/week test would have at least caused some bloat. :confused: :confused: :confused:

Please help!

So really youve only been on for 2 weeks now? Not enough time bro, give it a week or two. If your not blowing up by then(assuming training and diet are on point), start worrying about whether your gear is fake.
 
If your only starting week 3 thats probably why you haven't seen anything, have you ever run test or EQ before? Some people react differently to test. A common thing to do is run dbol for a few weeks at the beginning of the cycle to give it a kick start while the sust is working it's way in. By the beginning of week 4 you should notice something or start to believe that your gear might in fact be fake.
 
Look this is no flame but why does everyone always go down the gear is fake route? please remeber AAS are NOT muscle in an amp or tab. Yes they do work ONLY when supported by good diet, training and rest routines. Now maybe you are not growing because your calorie intake is poor? your training is crap? you are not resting enough? Tell us some more about these things as i am sure that is where your answer will be

I am training using the MM2K "put 50 pounds on your bench press routine" which is basically a 4 day/week split using low to medium rep range (4-8 reps). I am trying to eat 3600 clean calories a day (see diet below), but I probably get closer to 3000 most days. I get about 7-8 hours of sleep a night. I am 200lbs, 11% bf. Please let me know what other information you need.

9:00 AM Oats 3/4 cup
Fruit 5 prunes
Milk 2 cups
Protein powder 1 serving

11:00 AM Baked potato 1 tuber
Chicken 4 oz
Fruit 1 banana

2:00 PM Brown rice 1 cup
Black beans 1 cup
Chicken 4 oz

5:00 PM Tuna 1 can
Brown rice 1 cup
hellman's light 1 Tbsp

7:30 PM Honey 1 Tbsp
Whole wheat bread
Peanut butter 2 oz

10:00 PM Fruit 1 banana
Milk 2 cups

12:00 AM Oats 1/2 cup
Peanut butter 2 oz
Protein powder 1 serving
 
First of all, not enough high quality protein. 2nd, you may need more calories depending on your metabolism. 3rd, I'd give it another week before i start to worry? Any strength gains at least? Are you resting/sleeping enough? Is your program over-training you? There are a lot of factors to consider. iwouldn'y panic yet though. Do get some more proetin though, @ leat 50 grams every 3 hours, and make sure it's high quality, beans and natty pb are not quality sources my friend.
 
If you're training to gain then add some flax oil and up the meat portions to 6-8oz per meal.
 
thanks guys. I did notice some slight strength gains, but I just switched from high volume to low volume/high intensity workouts so it's hard to tell. I am definitely trying to gain. I'll try to increase the protein, add flax oil, and be patient.

It is hard to go by you weight, I say if you are staying at the same weight it is hard to tell. you could be losing fat and putting on lean muscle. Also at the begining of week 4, which is really your third week on, is when you should start noticing. For me it is around 4 weeks, I don't know why it just is. Sus also kept me lean, didn't bloat, and EQ did the same. Regarding your diet, I would say you need more carbs, when I was on EQ i was crazy hungry all the time and I couldn't help but pig out.
 
I'd say give it a week or two and definitely eat more. I'm 5'5" and 185lbs, and I need at least 3000 just to maintain that weight. To bulk I take in 4500-5000/day, and you're heavier than I am, so pick up a fork and use the hell out of it :)
 
My Sust / Deca cycle about 3 years ago yielded results from weeks 4-12. I had the same concerns, then BAM! I started to really notice differences in week 4
 
Just curious, if Sust takes 4 weeks to kick in, why choose that over a long-ester like enanthate which takes the same amount?

Weird ass diet bro...way to much simple sugars and am not sure what happens starting at 7:30pm...but it goes downhill from there....oats at midnight....ummmmm NO
