The civil rights activists were exercising civil disobedience in order to gain their constitutional rights. That is pretty important and heavy stuff, right? They did it for the betterment of an entire disenfranchised population.

I just don't think that juicing really compares. Civil disobedience for your right to be jacked....lol.

Recreational drug use may not compare to the civil rights movement, but I think to some extent juicers, rastafarians, etc are disenfranchised. I can't legally buy steroids that would in many ways help me, when taking responsibly and in low enough dosages. Why should I have to risk my career, business, reputation for doing something the government doesn't want me to do for political reasons.

And there are plenty of other reasons to take roids other than looking jacked.

We are so right wing and oppressive that the Islamic fundamentalists want to annihilate us. If that doesnt make sense its because its the opposite reason that the Islamic fundamentalists want us wiped out. The term "Western Values" doesnt apply to right wing conservatives. It applies to left wing liberals considered sinners with no law and order.
