Why are Steroids Illegal?

I will tell you why. It is because the government doesn't want to be over-powered. It is because people make and seel the shit and don't give any to the government, in ways of taxes. It is because of the misunderstood hrror stories blamed on steroid use. If a guy gets arrested jacked up on cocaine, and also has steroids in his system, then the steroids get the blame. "Oh, but he is on steroids". It is becuase we might outrun them, or over-power the fatass cops that sit in parking lots bullshitting, stuffing their faces with crap, and being 10 times thew size they were when they passed the pyhsical to become a cop.

Why is more effort put into nabbing steroid users/dealers, but when I drive to work, I pass the same gang bangers selling crack and heroin day in and day out? Why does the DEA put forth more effort on people who are using roids to improve their looks, their confidence, and their own well being in their own homes, but drive past the guy stealing the car in broad daylight?

We are sterotyped because some idiot decided to try steroids and fucked up, and of course that reflects on all of us why? If a doctor performs malpractice on a patient, do we stereotype the entire medical field? NO! If you get ripped off on an auto repair, do we sterotyped all mechnics as con-artists? NO!

We are basically stereotyped because if one is an abuser, then they all must be. Now they're banning legal supplements too? Where do we live? What happened to our freedom? It seems more and more like how the soviet union once was. Dictatorship. I bet if President Bush became real sick, and needed help, and the only way to help him get better, if they would prescibe him steroids to save his life, Then it would be ok, right?

Also steroids are banned because they work. Just like when the Govt. found out that prohormones actually worked, they made them illeagle. If we find out that eating squash was as good as d-bol, then you would go to jail for possesion of squash.

There's billions in the sports industry. If they weren't illegal, baseball would have Dorian's slugging the ball two miles away.

Okay, a slight exaggeration, but between the Olympics, sports entertainment business and the billions involved in both, it's not really rocket science to figure out why they're scheduled (and not exactly a high schedule at that).

Kids don't need to be screwing with their hormones at early ages, either.

i dont know what its like in the states but here its easier for a teen to get hold of some coke or meth than steroids, i know if i was told my child had a problem with drugs id prefer to find out it was steroids rather than coke or meth..

Comparing one harmful substance to another doesn't do much good.

Kids will use illegal narcotics, just as they will use illegal steroids. Both are harmful to a child in different ways.

OVERCRMINILIZATION of AAS is just really out of proportion.

Am against most it not all drugs, but the AAS overcriminilzatrion is just NOT fair to those on HRT, or who are chronically low on testosterone at a young age.

Dude steroids are dangerous drugs. That is why they are banned. It is not some greedy government plot because they are missing out or whatever your talking about. It is because steroids are powerful hormones and if used incorrectly they can do serious damage.

In addition, steroids are more addictive to cocaine in my opinion and I know from personal experience. Cocaine gets old but steroids only make you look better and better.

Legal supplements like Superdrol? I got more sides from that stuff than I have in anything else i've used that isn't legal. It is banned because it is just as harmful, if not more, than illegal steroids.

And if YOU became sick and steroids were the only way for you to survive of coarse they would prescribe them to you. Steroids have their place in the medical field as well under doctor supervision.

This is why they are illegal. If used by morons or kids they can do irreversible damage.
