Each and every day I meet people in public settings, when I work I meet more. And each and every day I feel that many of the people I meet are completely braindead.... I think it is our culture that is the culprit. We have fast foods, junk foods, each of which after eating provides a nice serotonin numbness and basically fills the body with sludge...than there is televison, the other primary culprit, which is not only the absence of exercise for the brain, but the antonym of it, making it even worse than the equivalent of sitting around all the time for your body. Then there is the MTV pop culture, which basically completely instructs young people how to behave, which is primarily where you get wiggas, n'syncs, and all the rest. My generation is particularly bad. I see kids every day, and most of them have that heavy surfer/potheadish drawl and can't even grasp simple concepts.... '
It's really as if most everyone is under the influence of a light narcotic, and that narcotic is our culture; food, TV, lifestyle.
