Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Have you ever noticed the ole guy around the store or the shop or whatever that started the business to begin with? He's always a nice old guy, and everyone respects him. He had to work his ass off to reach that degree of success then come along the little grubby children that get everything handed to them (and they should) and I find the majority of the time they are complete asswipes. Not always, but theres certainly a majority of them around here. I would venture to guess that a large portion of them wouldn't even be able to start such a business these days if it hadn't of got rooted in previous decades. Fuck 'em, I don't deal with them if at all possible.
Why are 2nd generation busniness owners always assholes?

Yes....I have noticed this and have some personal theories. I actually think about this particular phenomenon several times a month.

They didnt have to work for what they have. I have a friend like that who inherited his fathers construction company after dropping out of 3 different colleges. He now makes about $800,000 a year.

Exactly, they didn't have to work for what they have, so they assume everyhthing will be handed to them, and done how they want it to be done.
One of my friends is like that...his father owns a construction company, he's rich. This kid doesn't work for anything, if he needs money he takes it from his father's wallet...
Just last week, his father bought him a new car, some sort of lincoln. He called me up and was like "dude, my father just bought me a new car!" Then he says "yeah, but I got screwed, I was all pumped for an escalade!"
Yeah, he really got screwed.
