whose going to the gym today thread

I can pray for you if you want.. ive been isolated here in my appartement for 3 years now... i just want the same thing..go to the gym..

fear of leaving the house i guess. but do you really need 4hrs to pump yourself up to go? Get off the computer and go
 
I'm going later after I go biking. need to get a good shoulder workout in

went this morning. cardio and some grip work. I hate the fucking people in the gym on the weekends. I want to eat their hearts

im back.- and i thought sunday drivers were bad. sunday gymers are much worse.


so im in the weight room, and there is this manwoman ( me and my friend concluded that we think it was a guy). blonde poney tail, had his shirt pulled up and tied around him so his gut (he wasnt too fat but had a gut, but was no more tahn 130 pounds) was hanging out and all that was covered was his chests. he was going around doing light weights for evertyhing, and frankly reminded me of a anorexic girl who frantically does 2,000 jumping jacks after she eats.

He went from doing bench, leg press, barbell lunges, to all sorts of weird crap, spotting people randomly. then i was doing shoulder press and went to get a drink and came back and saw him using the weights i got out to do db rows on the seat i had positioned perfectly in front of the mirror with the back of it on the line of the gym tile (im ocd, and if the bench/seats are uneven, my workout will be too). so i was nice about it, and tried not to laugh, too much. then he was doing incline bench and got a spot and he was SCREAAAAMING so loud. my frined tugged my headphones out of my ears laughing histerically and we heard this LOUD scream and we went to see and its this guy doing his set.

then here is where i pulled a sunday gymer move...i told my friend id do cardio with him if he bought me a protein shake after the lifting part and before the cardio....so a chocolate protein shake and 15 minutes of running on level 8.5 on the treadmill, we decided to go jumprope some too. as soona s itouchthed jumprope i felt a rumbly in my tumbly and wasted my entire protein shake down the toilet. im sure it smelled so bad, and i courtesy flushed like 5 times too, just causeim nice.

then after, i was feeling fine, and made the mistake of going to box the heavy bag bareknuckle untill they bled (yeah, im real cool), and then thats when another wave hit me...after that one i told my friend i couldnt move anymore if i wanted to make it home alive, so we left

wanna hit traps in an unusual way??

To shrugs on the standing calf machine

My traps are about 30% bigger/better since I started adding this exercise in
 
Went around noon-ish........ Walked there (30 mins), did Chest & Abs, Walked home (1 hour)

Did shurgs with my safety squat bar last week... very unusal way also but damn it was a killer :)

nice....being inside the line of pull(as iopposed to being behind a bar) make a very noticable difference in where the traps are hit..same witht the calf machine...its in the midline of the body

I find I can get more weight out of it also.. with this grip issue and the numbness my grip fails before the muscle does. ;)
 
I have whole weight set at home.
I also have something similar to total gym.
So I don't go to the gym.
I am thinking of joining gym to add more variety to my work out.

No.. not one bit. Actully gets so numb at times it hurts, gets really cold.. guessing from lack of blood or something and then its painful when i hit it.

Gonna have to call the doc and see whats up. Its killing me to hit a point where my grip is screwing up my training even with the wraps.
 
Went to gym today. Tried to set a PR with DL right after I set a PR with Squats. Not a good idea.

But this way, I get all tingly inside...lower back area.

Still working on heavy crunches to get the area better....;)
 
not going today,should start back tomorrow as I gotta get in shape for testing that could be coming up,and ive been lazy lately

i saw someone post em in the training forum....i use em, and i love it

Did back today. Had a shit workout. Just couldn't get a "feel" for things. I'll have to just make best with what I did today.

yea my grip has been sucking since i started gh, i did back today and had wraps doing dl, got 3 reps and started slip[ping. My hand get numb when i even spank the monkey.
