My husband and I wanted to volunteer at local shelters but they didnt need anymore. We are just going to spend the day low-key, maybe take a short trip to Mexico. I am still having a hard time not being sad. It is amazing how much he puts up with, with me.

lol. the Baptist church down the street offered to "help" with our Thanksgiving dinner. we assumed they were offering to bring food and the like. they actually just wanted to spoon it out on plates for us. i told them, "the people here are mentally ill, not handicapped. they know how to use a spoon."

It's been cold here, which is allowing us to ski, although it's not ideal conditions it beats sitting around doing nothing.
I noticed snow on the mountains on my drive to work this morning. However the temperatures are suppose to get into the mid 60's after tommorrow, so we are skiing before that happens.

newcastle.... haven't been there.. manchester would be good.. have friends that live there.. They always out having fun..

London is the best though.. You can hit all the top places, bars, etc..
