Who's Bigger?

I usually don't engage in these kinds of debates but here's a "home movie" from the '79 Olympia that's kinda interesting. I always thought Mike Mentzer was so much bigger than Frank Zane.

Apparently, not so.

Mentzer for sure. He was thicker with more muscle, just shorter. Zane was small and weak

Just my opinion. He was for sure always well conditioned with great shape but I think he was very overrated, a normal sized guy (not small), and weak. I'm sure many think the same. However I would love to look lke him, lol.

Mentzer upper back and calves looked better, but thats about it

the rest was Zane

What was his height and weight?

Zane wasn't huge -- 5'10" 195. I'm not sure how "weak" he was.

Steve Reeves was 5'10" 190. I don't think too many dames complained about that.

Reg Park was only 5'10" 220 pounds and benched 500 pounds!

Mentzer was 5' 7" 210. Thicker than Zane, for sure, if that's what you like. But not a lot bigger, even considering the height difference.
