who's a fan of SHORT TEST CYCLES? lets build one.....

I thought test cycles dont even really "kick in" until week 4 or 5? So on a 6 week cycle you would only get a week or two of gains?

I know ive been on two weeks right now and havent noticed any strength gains yet, only some water weight.

yes and no.
yes - if you do it like everyone else with enth or cyp - just start shooting your normal dose twice a week.

no - it kick in quick if you frontload with enth/cyp - you can see results in less than a week after you start.

no - if you use prop instead of enth/cyp. with prop you feel it day 3. and if you double your first dose you can feel it the next day.

and no - test prop does not mean more pins than test e/c if you are smart :)

say - regular Joe test e 10 weeks cycle with no front load = 20 pins. 4 weeks to wait for kick start and two weeks after your last pin so - you are really seeing gains for 6 weeks and suppressed for 12 weeks + min 4 week PCT = total time 16 weeks
and - smart cycle with prop . Double the first dose (front load) and pin EOD for 6 weeks = 18 pins (2 pins less - SURPRISE!). wait 3 days before starting PCT - so you are gaining for 6 weeks and you are suppressed for 6.5 weeks + 4 weeks of easy PCT. but one should usually recover in 3 weeks with proper PCT. = total time 10.5 weeks - SAME GAINS !!! but FASTER recovery - so theoretically more keepable gains.
 
If you want a fucking fantastic second cycle, I'd recommend a moderate dose of short acting test (such as T-P), a low (75mg eod) dose of tren (get some cabaser/dostinex for potential prolactin sides) with a bit of HCG to keep your balls going. Keep an AI on hand of course.

Run this for 4 weeks and you'll make some awesome progress...

ya im sure I would. I just really have zero desire to run tren for a few more years. I will continue to make great gains on test and other compunds. most likely 3rd cycle will be test/deca/d-bol.

just not interested with the tren sides. I dont need it yet
 
Gains taper off because myostatin levels increase. But with that being said longer cycles do have their place when running compound like deca were you wanna run the test 2-4 weeks past the deca. So if you run deca for ten weeks then obviously you wanna run the test 12-14 weeks. Then you have compounds like eq which people like to run longer as well. So it all depends on what you're running. Imo if you're running test e you should go 8-10 weeks with it but I will definitly be following your log. Idk about 30 lbs but I'm sure you will make some nice gains......good luck

Ya I def know what people are saying. And I do agree that long cycles have there place. I just felt the gains slowing down for me around week 8 or 9. And ya maybe I could of done things differently to keep em going. But I really dont think I would of kept gaining at the rate I did for those first 8 weeks. I would of gained more but its just not worth it to me to gain a few more pounds if it means recovery will be harder. I rather hit it hard and perfect for 6-8 weeks than get off, recovery and do it again in about 2 months.

and ya I know, 30 pounds is wishful thinking. lol But I did gain 28 last time I ran the diesel and I honestly felt like I couldnt eat enough. Granted I was lookin like an emaciated tweeker before my first cycle(im my eyes). This time its gonna be pure bulk for 6 weeks, not having to worry about bf or "final pics" or any of that. But we'll see.
 
I did a short primo cycle and like it (test p. primo, tbol), but I always frontload so primo started acting within 1 week for me. And I stopped primo 2 weeks before the cycle end but continued test prop and tbol. stopped test prop but continued tbol for the last three days. I never stop my cycle and then wait for PCT time to come. I always take something to make use of that time rather than be suppressed and just wait it out.
My next primo cycle will be - start primo only for 3 weeks (since primo gives you minimal suppression) once the suppression really starts add test p and mast p for 6 weeks. tbol to either start or finish the cycle.
 
Your oversimplified statement of "test is test" is your strawman rhetoric. It's silly at best.

"Purer"? Really? I know what you are trying to say, but this word has other repercussions besides you trying to communicate that mg per mg there is more of the parent testosterone molecule in test propionate versus enanthate.

I haven't seen any studies indicating the effectiveness of gear. Care to cite any?

What are we, 4? YOU'RE WRONG. Esterification of testosterone is done to achieve different things... test isnt just test. And I'm not sure ANY drugs were designed for bodybuilding.

Yes, peak testosterone concentrations within the body will approach a maximum - I know, I've charted and posted it here back in 2006/2007. They approach a higher maximum with a longer ester than a shorter ester. Again, "test is test" is a silly statement.

i think a lot of steroid stuff is hard to prove one way or the other so we have to discuss our own experiences. i will say this though. in my experience:

a tren ace cycle 6 weeks can produce some sick gains. as can a 4 week dbol/proviron cycle, or a 4 week beastdrol cycle with some unleashed. i've done all 3 and my strength was through the roof. so if you like short cycles try one of those. i wonder what would happen if you combined tren ace with beastdrol, i bet your strength would be ridiculous within 2 weeks.. but not sure if the sides would be tolerable.

my current cycle i started 3 weeks ago.. it is test cyp 500mg/week. thats all. my strength is just now starting to jump.. i did not notice a difference the first week, the 2nd week i noticed a bit more. but now on my 3rd week my bench is very strong and my sex drive is through the roof... so yes i believe that it takes some time for AAS to build up in the system.. however it depends on what you are using. like i said dbol, beastdrol, tren ace test prop.. these types of AAS you can see a difference very quick no doubt. with this current cycle i usually kickstart it with some dbol or beastdrol, this time i chose to run just test alone to see what would happened, i will admit i thought i would of saw a bigger jump the first week but it took 3 weeks.

as for the arguement of longer vs. shorter cycles.. i wont run a cycle longer than 12 weeks for fear of recovery issues, but having not run one longer i cannot say it would or would not be different. I do have to agree with nelsons point that 4 month long cycles can yield better gains over the long haul then one 16 week cycle just based on the amount of off time you would need to cycle off on 1 longer cycle, but not based on actually trying it out... its just an educated guess though.
 
I like the idea of long esters being active straight away I can feel test e from my first jab within hours I can feel the hightend aggresion and sex drive from my first shot to my last, the same feeling I get with prop so I think gains can easily be made straight away, how much is obvi down to the user/diet/training/genetics, spose each to there own
