whole eggs while cutting?

Lee

New member
im currently cutting and i eat 6 to 9 whole eggs a day, and was wondering if this would hinder fat loss at all

Personally, I would make all but two of those whites only. Try it and see...if you aren't making progress, nix some fat. That's 9 cals per gram, and it's alot of fat....and not the kind you need. Eggs are great while cutting though...it's the ONLY thing you can eat that's an ENTIRE animal - couldn't ask for more AA's.

I do too, but not as guilty as when I eat them. :)

I save the shells for my garden though, so I figure it all balances out. :D

You can get enough of the AA's and minerals without eating 9. That's like eating 5 Snickers bars because there are some kick ass anti oxidants in chocolate....wait, now that's not a bad idea. :D

hmm, ill go another week with eating the hwole things, and if i dont drop any weight ill try seperating em

True, but as someone once said, "theres a whole chicken in one of those eggs," you throw out the yolk and you miss most of the goodies. i don't have any qualms about saturated fat at this point and time

One question....Do you eat your eggs RAW or COOKED?
I read in testosterone.net an article from John Bernardi, where he said that despite the danger of the raw egg containing salmonella, he says also that the protein of the raw egg doesn't absorbs nearly as well as a cooked egg.

egg white protein is not bio available before being cooked (to free or bind the biotin as i recall). I have heard that the yolk is better uncooked... but i myself generally eat them scrambled for breakfast (because thats all they serve) and hardboiled at any other time.

i eat the mine scrambled, real wet, the longer you cook them, and any protein/food, the more broken down and less useful it gets

just had 3whole eggs and steak nice

the longer u cook eggs the less protein u get? damn, i cook em til they are hard all the way through with the yoke broken...

I just wanted to say that there is protein in the whole egg but the problem is that the yolk has a lot of cholestral which could be bad for you if you have a problem with cholestral in your family or worried about it.

i dnt have nave any family history with cholestorol problems, and eggs are just bout the only source of cholestorol for my diet

still not convinced if the amount of useable protein will be significant to affect gains.

Gotta look at the big picture...
Eggs have high cholesterol in them. Yet no conclusive studies showing dietary intake of cholesterol being any worse for blood lipid profiles than other saturated fats
