Who would you consider your hero?

Wootoom

As some of you have stated, my Dad was my hero before his heart attack. Don't get me wrong. He didn't die, but something inside him changed after that day. He was never the same. I guess a brush with death does that to a man. But still, it was sad to watch a person I idolized change before me.

Hard call but my mom has to be on the list. I have no idea how someone can live through everything she's been through or can even wake up every day and give like 100% with all of her medical problems.

I have a few men I truly admire... heroes.. hmm not sure how thats defined.

Thomas Jefferson

Ronald Reagan

George Washinton

Davey Crockett

Ron Paul

just to name a few

Richard Feynman! Most brilliant man of the 20th century, Nobel Prize winner, exotic drum player, woman player, physicist, bar and strip club goer, teacher, destroyer of worlds (key figure in Los Alamos/atomic bomb), prize-winning author, famous safe-cracker, I could go on for ever... I'd suggest picking up one of his biographies or his 'humor' books.

:cow:

I have no hero's. There are some guys I admire, but that's it.
Doug Flutie.
My grade 4 & grade 7 science teacher, Mr. John Wilson.
My grade 7 phys Ed teacher, Mr. Fox.
Samoth is a pretty smart MoFo.
Subzm, when he avoids his childish wisecracks, has a wisdom beyond his years. When he gets to be my age, he'll be one smart, well rounded individual.

having a real hard time with this one for some reason....there are some people in the world i truely "admire"....most would be Musicians- for the music written and the songs we hear- that can take us all to a place and time in a billionth of a second. Songs that can make us sad, songs that bring forth memories, songs that inspire....what a great gift.
