Did it set itself on Leap Year? I had to reset the date to the first of March the next day. I wonder if it`s gonna go the the right amount of days this month now.

My life is so eventful.
 
I had to do the same thing, gonefishing. If it is a decent watch, it should know that there are 31 days in March all on it's own. You wear a calculator watch, don't you?
 
no, but I have one with condensation on the inside of the watch face :o

i've been meaning to check out those MSN watch thingies....anyone got a link?
 
i wear a watch only on the weekends. they're annoying to type on a keyboard with, plus my cell phone has a clock on it. my watch is just for decorashun...that's it and that's all.

Dude lol relax bro. lmao it`s an $8 watch, that`s what I`m expecting out of it.

It`s my 3rd one. lol I abuse them, lifting and working (construction) with it on.

It works great until the band breaks every couple of years. I`ve had 3 in the last 10 years.
 
In honor of Y2k I went back to my 1974-vintage Seiko automatic. I bought it new.

When prospective clients of a certain age wonder if I'll take good care of their equipment, I show it to them and say "See this? It's older than you are."
 
My watches all go "tick tock" and say "Swiss Made" at the bottom of the dial.
 
My other watch doesn't tick that much and has a smooth second hand. It is an expensive seal divers watch.
 
My nike Triax got the leap year thing right.

I hate metal band watches, i own some nice ones but they all irritate my skin.

I wear one of those nike running watches all the time..... goes nice with 300 dollars shirts and 400 dollar shoes
 
"Swiss Army" makes some cool watches for using in the gym. They are simple, and made pretty well it seems. I like them because they are Swis made, and their functionality is awesome. Check out the active/"startech" on their watch site. It has temp, berometer, alarm, water-resist.cool lighting features, stopwatch in it, date, and has a digital, and reg. hand face in the same setting watch. A lot of other cool stuff in it also, ect...It's the last one, and has a "polished stainless steel-look." Pretty cool, nice watch, and affordable for everyday active wear.
